Play roguelite with Tetris

InfidHells is a free-to-play adventure game that combines roguelite elements with stacking Tetris-like elements. In this addictive experience from Abject, you are an entity reborn either as a succubus or an incubus. You’re tasked with finding your way out of hell, punishing people, and beating angels in order to tip the scales of balance in favor of evil.

Its addictive gameplay mechanics and simple graphics make InfidHells slightly reminiscent of Risk of Rain or the Binding of Isaac, with the same dark premise. If you’re familiar with roguelite gameplay, you’ll definitely play this for hours or even days.

No easy way out of hell in this game

As a roguelite game, the main feature of InfidHells is that every run is unique and you don’t get to save your progress. Although you can keep items and upgrades, you’ll have to restart from the very beginning every time. This permadeath feature is annoying for non-fans of the genre but can give you an incentive to try it again and again as you gradually figure out how things work.

In terms of visuals, it uses a 16-bit graphic aesthetic reminiscent of old-school RPGs. It maintains a largely red color palette, which starkly contrasts with certain elements colored in blue or green. It makes you feel like playing from a room with only red lights on. Still, it works with the entire hell aesthetic, which it applies in the game's various game modes–including the Tetris-like games for fighting opponents.

A bit of a warning though, certain themes and languages are not suitable for younger players. Also, the game remains to be optimized for a fullscreen gaming experience. As it stands, the game feels like an emulated game for other consoles. However, aside from this minor visual issue, the game is largely enjoyable and replayable thanks to the immensely challenging things you have to do.

Puzzles and adventures for hours

InfidHells is ready to become one of the best roguelites ever, thanks to its ingenious approach of using Tetris gameplay elements as its combat mechanics. Furthermore, it makes use of other puzzle types that not only challenge the players mentally but can also result in permadeath, sending players back to the start. All this comes in a consistent design that reflects from the set to the battles. Highly recommended.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
